CHRISTIN WEBB

President & CEO

(aka Chief Leadership Enthusiast)

Christin is passionate about all things relative to living life in the fullest capacity possible. She is a change agent, businesswoman, leader, and creative at heart. She is convinced that leadership begins with the whole being and created The Greater You Leadership Series to help enhance the internal perspective of its clients to in turn foster success in leadership. 

Christin's motivating and high-energy training and experience is perfect to lead The Greater You Leadership Series. Christin has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Social Work and also earned an MBA from Webster University. She is an NIGP Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP). She is an alumni of Dale Carnegie training and Leadership Memphis.


An accomplished communicator with Toastmasters International, Christin has also been recognized for her professional and community efforts, having been a recipient of the Ordinary  People Magazine award, 40 Under 40 Urban Elite Professional award, Stone Awards Ida B Wells Commemorative award, and the Dale Carnegie's Highest Achievement award.


As a community change agent, Christin serves as a Commissioner with the City of Memphis' Youth Guidance Commission and former Executive Board Member of STS Enterprise, Incorporated and National Coalition of 100 Black Women of Memphis, Inc. A constant contributor in the leadership and procurement industry, Christin was President of the Tennessee Association of Public Purchasing and Talent Council member. She is an Instructor with the Institute of Public Procurement. Christin is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.


Christin has held a multitude of leadership roles at both local and state levels for several for profit and non-profit organizations over the past 20 years. She previously served as the Administrator of Purchasing for Shelby County Government where she was responsible for contracting approximate $1.1B of all County goods and services.


She is a published author, award-winning screenwriter, and national speaker. Christin currently resides in her hometown of Memphis, Tennessee with her daughter.

JASMINE JAMES

Program Coordinator - Intern

Jasmine James is a young and creative talent with a unique approach for Program Coordination. Jasmine has served as Program Coordinator with TGYLS for three years and is responsible for the planning and execution of TGYLS' hosted events and programming. She is a high-school honor's student communication major and hopes to join a career in Communications after college.
